Overview

The Brand Integration Director (BI Director) is the senior day-to-day business and relationship leader on assigned accounts and a central driver of integrated brand and business growth at Rise and Shine and Partners.

As brand navigators, we help brands seize change and move business Up and to the Right™. The BI Director ensures that every client engagement delivers strategically integrated, creatively ambitious, and commercially effective work.

Operating within a full-service, independent, growth-minded agency, the BI Director must be fluent across marketing disciplines — brand strategy, business strategy, creative, design, social, media, etc. — and have strong experience navigating CPG and retail-driven business models.

The BI Director leads client relationships, drives integration across teams, unlocks organic growth, and models RSP’s culture and values in action.


Core Responsibilities

1. Client Leadership & Business Stewardship

  • Serve as the senior day-to-day client lead and trusted partner.
  • Build deep, durable relationships grounded in trust, candor, and proactive counsel.

Demonstrate command of CPG business dynamics.

  • Provide forward-looking strategic POVs that anticipate needs and uncover opportunity.
  • Lead client planning efforts that align brand ambition with business results.
  • Balance client ambition with scope clarity and operational discipline.
  • Own and present three formal business reviews annually, delivering a clear, candid assessment of account performance across business context, relationships, revenue and profitability, and work quality.


2. Integrated Strategy & Cross-Disciplinary Fluency

  • Lead development of integrated brand-building and business-activation frameworks.
  • Connect brand strategy to execution across channels and touchpoints.
  • Synthesize data, insights, and performance signals into clear strategic direction.
  • Ensure ideas are evaluated against objectives, audiences, and connection ecosystems.
  • Champion full-funnel thinking from awareness to conversion to loyalty.


3. Growth & Commercial Leadership

  • Own financial performance of assigned accounts, including revenue growth and forecast accuracy.
  • Identify and pursue organic growth opportunities.
  • Partner with Brand Integration Group Director and leadership on new business pitches.
  • Translate strategic thinking into scoped solutions with clear ROI.
  • Protect agency value while delivering meaningful value to clients.


4. Team Leadership & Culture Stewardship

  • Lead cross-functional teams with clarity, optimism, and accountability.
  • Create environments where diverse ideas and perspectives are embraced.
  • Provide clear briefs and directional guidance that inspire unignorable ideas.
  • Model and reinforce RSP’s values:

  • Develop and mentor emerging talent within the Brand Integration team.

  • Master agency systems and tools to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Ensure clear scopes, timelines, expectations and resource alignment.
  • Maintain strong partnership with Project Management and Operations.
  • Protect team capacity while maintaining high creative standards.
  • Simplify complexity for clients and teams.


6. Thought Leadership & External Orientation

  • Stay at the forefront of cultural, category, and marketing trends.
  • Share relevant insights internally and externally.
  • Bring new thinking, partners, tools, and frameworks into client conversations.


Key Competencies & Qualifications


Experience

  • 8–12+ years in an integrated advertising, marketing, creative, or in-house agency environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional teams.
  • Proven success growing accounts and managing financial performance.
  • Experience navigating modern retail, digital, and omnichannel ecosystems - particularly with CPG brands.

Salary: $120,000.00 To $160,000.00 Annually
